David C. Adams, Chairman

David C. Adams was named Executive Chairman of the Board of Curtiss-Wright Corporation on January 1, 2021. He has served as Chairman since January 2015 and a member of the Board since August 2013.  Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Company from August 2013 until his retirement from that position in January 2021.

Mr. Adams served as Chief Operating Officer from 2012 with responsibility for expanding global opportunities for the Company's diversified business operations and products – overseeing the Company's three former operating segments – Flow Control, Controls and Surface Technologies. Mr. Adams previously served as Co-Chief Operating Officer since 2008, with responsibility for all aspects of the Controls and Surface Technologies segments' strategic goals, technology development, global operations and financial performance. Prior to that, he was President of Curtiss-Wright Controls, the Motion Control Segment of the Corporation, since 2005. In this role, he led global strategy including fostering internal innovation, developing cross-market applications and acquiring pioneering technologies to achieve their full potential in high-performance markets. Mr. Adams has nearly 40 years of experience in the aerospace, defense and electronics technology markets.

Mr. Adams' leadership and operational experience as a member of the Curtiss-Wright executive team included the evolution of the One Curtiss-Wright vision, achievement of top-quartile financial metrics, and focus on a balanced capital allocation strategy including returns to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends and integration of numerous acquisitions to drive significant stakeholder value.

Lynn M. Bamford, President and Chief Executive Officer

Lynn M. Bamford assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation on January 1, 2021, and was named a member of the Board. 

Previously, she served as President of the Defense and Power Segments since January 2020, where she maintained overall responsibility for the segments' strategic goals, technology development, global operations and financial performance. She was previously Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Defense Solutions division from 2013 through 2019. During her tenure at Curtiss-Wright, she successfully led the Company through nine acquisitions to enhance the global product portfolio.

Ms. Bamford joined Curtiss-Wright in 2004 with its acquisition of Dy4, a leading provider of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) embedded computing solutions, where she held several engineering and leadership positions. Shortly after the acquisition, she assumed the position of Vice President, Product Development and Marketing for Curtiss-Wright’s former Controls segment, and ascended to Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Embedded Computing business, before being named to lead the Defense Solutions division in 2013.  She has more than 30 years of operational experience across the defense, aerospace and commercial industries.

Ms. Bamford holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University.

Thomas P. Quinly, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Quinly was named Chief Operating Officer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation in October 2013. Most recently, he was President of Curtiss-Wright Controls, the Controls Segment of the Corporation, since 2008. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of the Motion Control Embedded Computing Unit, where he was responsible for integrating previous Curtiss-Wright acquisitions in this technology sector and growing the Embedded Computing business through additional acquisitions. Mr. Quinly has over 30 years of experience in the defense, aerospace and commercial markets.

K. Christopher Farkas, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Farkas was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation in 2020.

Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, he was named Vice President of Finance of Curtiss-Wright Corporation in December 2017, and previously held the positions of Vice President and Corporate Controller since 2014, and also has served as Assistant Corporate Controller since May 2009.

Prior to joining Curtiss-Wright, he spent more than 17 years in financial, technical and operational roles of increasing responsibility within Fortune 50/250 industrial companies including United Technologies Corporation and Parker Hannifin.

Mr. Farkas possesses an MBA and an EMBA from two internationally ranked business schools. He holds an MBA from Purdue University, Krannert School of Management and an EMBA from the ESCP Europe (European School of Management). In addition, he has a BS degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. He is a CPA and is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Paul J. Ferdenzi, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Ferdenzi was named General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Curtiss-Wright Corporation in 2014. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, he held the positions of Vice President, Human Resources of the Corporation since November 2011, and also has served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary since June 1999 and May 2001, respectively.

Prior to joining Curtiss-Wright in 1999, he was employed by the law firm of Gallagher, Briody & Butler, and previously served with the United States Navy in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (“JAGC”). Mr. Ferdenzi earned his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University’s School of Law.

Harry S. Jakubowitz, Vice President and Treasurer

Harry Jakubowitz was named Vice President and Treasurer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation in May 2007. Prior to this, he held the position of Treasurer since September 2005, and also served as Director of Taxes since his hiring in June 2002.

Prior to his joining Curtiss-Wright, he served as the Vice President Taxes, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary for General Semiconductor, Inc., a spin off from General Instrument Corporation; Director of Taxes and Assistant Treasurer for General Instrument Corporation, both publicly traded multinational manufacturers. Prior to this, Mr. Jakubowitz worked for the public accounting firm Pannell, Kerr and Forster.

Mr. Jakubowitz received his MBA degree in Taxation from St. John’s University and his BS degree in Accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College (CUNY). Mr. Jakubowitz is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
